Provides state, county, district, and school level reports covering topics such as students, staffing, finances, and performance rankings.


Data Resource Guide (DRG)
Catalog of the Department's data resources that documents, names, and defines all of the data that are available throughout the Department.


National Center for Education Statistics
The primary federal entity for collecting and analyzing data that are related to education in the United States and other nations.
A public source of information and analysis about the nation's public schools.


National Center for Educational Achievement /Just for the Kids
Provides academic performance data reports for districts and schools in California and 18 other states. Also offers resources related to best practices research and self-audit tools.


Longitudinal Education Data Systems
Numerous efforts that are part of California's statewide K-12 education data system including the California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System (CALPADS), the California Longitudinal Teacher Information Data Education System (CALTIDES), Statewide Student Identifiers (SSIDs), California School Information Services (CSIS), Online Public Update for Schools (OPUS), and associated advisory committees.
